Well, it's been nearly a month, and I've been having so much fun!  I've talked to people from all over the world.  Almost 100 calls now. I love talking to people...and if you have any questions about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints give me a call, we'll talk.   And, don't worry, I don't bite...that's for the characters in my fics to do!

I know I haven't posted in a long while, but I honestly have a good reason.  I have been preparing to go on a mission for my church.  The training lasted about eight weeks, and I have just begun active service.  It's a mission I can serve using my computer, from my home, so my stories will not suffer.  Although, I may not post as often as I did before, I will still be posting! So wish me luck, and I will see you later!

I know, I know...Where have I been?   Extra busy putting the final touches on my stories, and getting certified in CERT training.  Soon I'll be qualified to wear a green hardhat and bandage people up in an emergency.  It kinda feels good to be needed.

On the Spuffy front, has anyone been following the comics that are supposed to be Buffy season eight?  There is quite a bit of debate on some of the boards I lurk around, and some are even questioning the validity of the Spuffy fandom.

How is the comic shaping up?  Is it really Bander, as some of the rumors have said.  Dear Lord, I hope not!  If it is, could Buffy get any more shallow?  Did she learn nothing?

Anyway--just wanted you guys to know that I am still here.

I've been really busy with work and I'm having yet another fight with my muse, otherwise I would have posted sooner.  Just wanted to pop in to let people know that I'm still here.

Oh, and I have a question.  It happens to be "Buffy " related- so, those who are not interested might want to turn away now.

Is it just me, or did Buffy, circa season 7, seem to be a total...well the word rhymes with witch, to Spike in that season, even after she knew about the soul?  I don't think she ever treated Angel that way.  And, does her treatment of Spike make her declaration of love suspect, even if she did mean it?

The show's a sell-out!  So much so that we've added an extra show!  "Lumiere" has the audience rolling in the aisle every time.  And the show is feeding my Spuffy muse.  So it's all good.

Just got back from the final dress rehearsal of "Beauty and the Beast," and I have to compliment the singing voice of the actor who is playing the Prince.  Wow!  At one point he brings tears to my eyes.  We should really impress the kiddies during Thursday morning's show...

Okay, maybe I'm showing my age here, but when I was in school, nothing like the horror at VT would have happened.  And to have to listen to him, and about him, every time I turn on the news just twists the knife in further for the victims and their families. 

Now, I admit, my connection to what happened on that campus is minimal...But, if it hurts me to watch him spew his hate on my television screen, after he killed all those people, and my connection is tenuous, what must it be like for all the victims' parents and siblings?

I know...it's been a while but I've been busy.  Thought I'd let you know that the production of "Beauty and the Beast" is about ready to wow this little town.  And the second part of my epic fanfic "Of light and shadow" is about ready to post...at least the first part. :) Tax time is over for us paralegals this year.  Yeah! now we start on next year.

Well, if you're still interested in peeking at my little life then I promise to post more often, now that I'm not as busy as before.

It's been raining for a week now.  Most people hate rainstorms, but not me.  I like them because they reminds me that things can change and grow.  So, when I get down in the dumps, I always try to remember that there are rainbows at the end of a rainy day.  I know, it sounds Pollyanna- but it works for me.

Got a job as a production assistant on the local theatre production of "Beauty and the Beast."  Should be fun.  Gotta love live theatre.  It makes me all happy inside!
